Am I obligated to pay if pay for service not requested? 2 Answers as of July 30, 2013

A crew of curb painters painted my house number on the curb without my approval. Not only that, they painted the wrong number. They came to ask for payment but I maintain that I don't have to pay since I never approved or requested the service.

You don't have to pay if they painted the wrong number. If they left a form for you to sign that may have an effect as to whether or not you need to pay them, providing they corrected the wrong number.
