Am I liable for contempt of court if I wrote a letter to a judge accusing him of favoritism? 1 Answers as of January 26, 2011

I was framed and convicted of 4th class assault 5 years ago. I am still having problems because of it. I tried to vacate the conviction but was denied because the woman also got a protection order against me. If I wrote a letter to the judge accusing him of favoritism toward women, am I liable for contempt of court or other sanctions? How do I clear my name?

It depends on your tone. If you are respectful and not accusatory you will be ok. I would use a searching tone like "I'm at a loss.." Call if you want to talke about your conviction. One of my specialties is records cleanup.
