About Me

Mr. Hawkins is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the state of Washington, the US District court for the Western district of Washington and the Immigration Court in Washington. Mr. Hawkins also argues cases before the Court of Appeals. Mr. Hawkins enjoys representing individuals in family law proceedings and immigration matters involving deportation proceedings as well as the submission of various petitions to the USCIS to help immigrants who wish to live in the United States. Attorney Hawkins actively litigates cases throughout Washington State, concentrating in Snohomish, King and Kitsap counties.

Mr. Hawkins grew up in the silicon valley of California in the Bay Area and still has family residing there. For the past 18 years, Attorney Dave Hawkins has concentrated on family law and immigration. Attorney Hawkins attended college at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and completed his undergraduate education in Virginia at James Madison University Mr. Hawkins is also a standing member of the Amicus Committee of the Washington State Bar Association as well the Court Rules Committee of the Washington State Bar Association. Attorney Dave Hawkins is a member of the Snohomish County Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. Attorney Dave Hawkins has been the sole owner and operator of the Law office of Dave Hawkins for the past 5 years.

Attorney Hawkins earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1991 and traveled west to Seattle to practice law in Washington State. Attorney Dave Hawkins earned degrees in Political Science and Paralegal studies. Mr. Hawkins attended law school in Lansing Michigan and actively participated in Moot Court, competing at the national level and earning recognition for his speaking skills and the art of advocacy. Attorney Dave Hawkins has a working knowledge of Russian and German which facilitates his works with members of the Russian community in the areas of family law and immigration. Attorney Dave Hawkinss practice is a general practice with a focus on family law, immigration and appellate work in Seattle, Washington.. In the family law arena, Attorney Hawkins has argued dozens of cases before a variety of courts and in a variety of counties: from Pacific county in the south to Clallam county in the north. Attorney Dave Hawkins also actively participated in the study of international law which gave rise to his interest in the legal procedures of foreign countries.
