James McKain

About Me

James is the working class son of a working class son. He is the first in his family to go to college, and certainly the first to finish an advanced degree. Since entering the practice of law, James has consistently fought for Washington drivers. He has argued traffic matters in courts throughout the state and has consistently gotten outstanding results.

Before entering the practice of law, James served in the U.S. Army. After separating from the service he attended the University of Kansas where he was fortunate enough to represent the Jayhawks as a defenseman for the University of Kansas Hockey Team. After finishing his Bachelors degree James went on to study law at The University of Kansas School of law. In law school James concentrated his studies on constitutional law, constitutional issues, and criminal law. James was fortunate enough to have been selected to take part in the Paul E. Wilson Defender Project where he gained valuable appealate experience in criminal law. After graduating law school, James took and passed the Washington State Bar Exam and entered the practice of law.

James has worked in a large law firm, a small law firm, and a government agency. Now he is looking forward to working for you.
