Anne Whipple graduated in 1995 from The University of Georgia School of Law, a top tier law school, where she served on the editorial board of the Georgia Law Review. She was admitted as a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 1995. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is admitted to the Federal Courts of the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Anne received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Anthropology with a Certificate in Global Studies from the University of Georgia in 1989. Between her junior and senior years from August 1987 until May 1988, Anne studied Mandarin Chinese at Peking University and Taiwan Normal University and traveled extensively throughout Mainland China. She returned again to the Peoples Republic of China in 1990, where she continued her studies of Mandarin Chinese at Anhui University for 6 months.
