A native of the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Rylander graduated from the University of Washington, and received his juris doctor with cum laude honors from Lewis and Clark Law School, where he was appointed to and served on law review (winning the law review writing contest). Mr. Rylander is an experienced trial attorney and a registered patent attorney. He handles all aspects of intellectual property representation.
He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in cases for patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, and unfair competition, as well as government contract cases and general litigation in Federal courts, among others. He has prosecuted patent applications in the mechanical, chemical, material science, business, software, electrical circuit, and manufacturing arts, among others. His patent practice includes both domestic and international applications and prosecution.
