About Me

Joe is currently the President of the Taney County Bar Association and is also licensed in U.S. District Court. Joseph Allen is a proud native of southern Missouri. Originally from Mansfield in Wright County, Joe spent a good deal of his childhood in the Tri-Lakes area and obtained is Bachelor degree from College of the Ozarks, where he was a starting pitcher on the Bobcats baseball team. In 2008, Joe received the Democratic Party nomination to run for the 8th Congressional District in an election that went to Republican incumbent Joann Emerson. Joe earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law (and was awarded a Certificate in the law of Child Abuse and Neglect from the University of Oklahoma), and quickly began to focus on defending clients facing criminal charges.
