Mikes practice focuses on bankruptcy for small business owners and complex chapter 7 and 13 cases. Mike also represents individuals and small business owners in chapter 11 reorganization proceedings. In 2007, Mike received Board Certification as a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification. He is a frequent speaker on Debtor Creditor issues and an active member of the Oregon State Bar Debtor/Creditor section. Mike is an Oregon native and a graduate of Wilson High School and the University of Oregon where he earned a Bachelors of Science Degree with a major in History. After graduating from the University of Oregon, Mike attended the University of Wisconsin Law School and completed his studies to earn the Doctor of Law degree in December 1994. Michael D. OBrien is the Managing Partner of Oliveros & OBrien, P.C. and supervises the Bankruptcy Practice Group. Mike was admitted to practice law in Oregon in April of 1995. He was admitted in Wisconsin in May of 1995, and licensed in Washington in September 1997.
