Attorney Gray also has extensive experience as a trial lawyer in criminal law and civil litigation. Prior to joining Odin, Feldman & Pittleman, Mr. Gray practiced for 12 years at his own firm. Mr. Gray was named among Virginia Business magazines "Legal Elite" in 2009. His primary practice area is Domestic Relations and Family Law litigation including all aspects of custody, visitation, child and spousal support, business valuation, property valuation and division and equitable distribution of property. Attorney Richard is a principal of the firm in the Family Law & Domestic Relations practice group. Mr.Gray has been practicing family law and domestic relations for twenty three years in three jurisdictions (New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Virginia). In 2006 and 2007, Mr.Gray was designated as a Virginia Super Lawyer in the Family Law section. Mr. Gray has had extensive mediation training at The Northern Virginia Mediation and Conciliation Training Center, Fairfax, Va. Mr.Gray was designated as a Washington, D.C. Super Lawyer in 2007 and 2008. Mr. Gray concentrates his Family Law trial practice in the various circuit courts and juvenile and domestic relations district courts throughout Northern Virginia including Alexandria City, Arlington County, Fairfax County, Prince William County and Loudoun County. In addition to his trial work, Mr. Gray prepares premarital and post-nuptial agreements and acts as a mediator. Mr. Gray has taken over 50 hours of mediation training and has also been trained in the collaborative law process as a Collaborative Lawyer. An additional practice area for Mr. Gray is obtaining Guardianships and Conservatorships for juveniles and incapacitated adults.
