Mr. Thiessen still has many close connections in the civil world but in January 2006, Mr. Thiessen followed his calling to be a skilled trial lawyer into the criminal court room. Attorney Thiessen also studied International Criminal Law at the University of Malta during the summer of 2001. Attorney Thiessen's mother is still a practicing dentist in Houston and his father a local radiologist. Attorney Mark Thiessen came back home and continued his education at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. Attorney Mark Thiessen is also a lead counsel for the HCCLA Second Chair Trial Program. Mr. Thiessen was active in mock trial, various law societies and intramural football while attending South Texas College of Law. Attorney Mark Thiessen was hired as an associate for Trichter & Murphy, P.C.in January 2006 and worked there for over five years. Mr. Thiessen then graduated from Texas Christian University in 2000 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. Attorney Mark Thiessen was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Mr. Thiessen won State in Advanced Acting and was Captain of the Tennis Team while at the Kinkaid School. Mr. Thiessen was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and on the Honor Roll while he was at Texas Christian University. Additionally, Mr. Thiessen studied abroad at the BPP Law School, in London England and the University of Hawaii.
