Originally from a small community in the Butte County area of Northern California, Attorney Matthew Murillo has never forgotten his roots since making Southern California his home. Attorney Matthew Murillo is eligible to practice Immigration Law throughout the United States. Matthew Murillo graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Psychology, as well as a Minor in Communicative Disorders. Murillo strongly believes that his calm, easy-going demeanor, and his ability to speak English and Spanish fluently, makes him the perfect attorney for many Southern California residents looking for legal representation.
Other than the various court admissions, Attorney Matthew Murillo is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Riverside County Bar Association, the San Bernardino County Bar Association, the Inland Empire chapter of the Federal Bar Association (9th Circuit) as well as the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Immediately after graduating from the University of Redlands, Matthew Murillo then began pursuing his legal career by attending the Inland Empires only ABA accredited law school - the University of La Verne, College of Law. While there, Murillo was an active participant in the College of Laws Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Chapter on campus, as a member and as its President.
Attorney Matthew Murillo has also been admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts for the Central District of California, as well as the Southern District of California. Since passing the California Bar exam and becoming a fully licensed attorney, Matthew Murillo has been a member of the California State Bar, which allows him to practice in all state courts throughout the state of California. Attorney Matthew Murillo was an active participant in the Justice & Immigration Clinic, which offers free services to individuals in need of legal representation who are facing deportation/removal proceedings.
Murillo has always believed in serving his Community. His desire to become a lawyer was motivated by his desire to help those in need. This dedication to service is something that has continued throughout his life, and will continue into his legal career. Attorney Matthew Murillo was involved with the Philosophy Club on campus, as its President for a year, as well as the "Big Buddies" program, on campus, as one of its Co-Directors for approximately 2 1/2 years. The Big Buddies program, is an outreach program based on the national Big Brothers, Big Sisters program. Attorney Matthew Murillo began his undergraduate studies at the University of Redlands, located in the Inland Empires city of Redlands, California.
