Ioulia focuses her practice on Wills and Trusts, Probate and Estate Settlement, Tax Law, Business Formation and Transactions, and Immigration Law. Ioulia has over ten years of legal experience in successfully handling complex immigration matters before the legacy INS (currently US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)), US Department of Labor, and US Department of State.
While studying at the Seattle University School of Law, Ioulia completed a one-year focus area in Taxation Law. After graduating from the Seattle University School of Law in 2005, Ioulia attended LL.M. Program in Taxation Law at the University of Washington School of Law. To that end, Ioulia has advanced expertise to prepare Wills and Trusts based on your personal and financial situation as well as special needs that may exist in your family, represent heirs and fiduciaries in Probate and Trust administration, advise business owners regarding appropriate business structure, as well as represent your interests before IRS and state taxing authorities.
After obtaining her LL.M. in Taxation in 2006, Ioulia practiced in Olympia, Washington for five years in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate Settlement and Trust Administration, Taxation, Business succession planning, Business formation and Transactions, Immigration Law, and Real Estate Transactions. Prior to attending law school, Ioulia worked at a law firm in Bellevue, Washington where she assisted attorneys with representation of clients in personal injury cases and immigration matters. Ioulia came to the U.S. in 1996. She is particularly sensitive to the complex issues you may face in your immigration matter because of her international background. Native of Samara, Russia and holder of a Masters degree in Linguistics with High Honors, Ioulia is fluent in Russian.
Ioulia is a member of Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Thurston County Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association (Washington Chapter), South Puget Sound Estate Planning Council, and Washington Women Lawyers. Ioulia is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court and U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
