Attorney Iman I. Abouelazm graduated from Florida A&M University cum laude in 1998 with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida College of Law in Gainesville, with certifications in International Law and Family Law.
While in law school, Ms. Abouelazm interned at the State Attorneys office of the 8th Judicial Circuit in Gainesville, FL. She also participated in an intensive study abroad program at the University of Cape Town, in Cape Town, South Africa, where she focused on Human Rights and International Law. After law school, Ms. Abouelazm studied at the American University in Cairo, Egypt towards an L.L.M. degree in International and Comparative Law.
In 2005, Ms. Abouelazm established the Law Offices of Iman I. Abouelazm, P.A., in Miami, focusing on Family and Immigration Law. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Abouelazm expanded her practice to Broward and Palm Beach counties to help people in financial trouble file for Bankruptcy relief and/or save their home from the foreclosure process.
Ms. Abouelazm is admitted to practice in all state courts in the State of Florida, as well as the federal courts in the Southern District of Florida, Northern District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Abouelazm is also fluent in Arabic with a limited working knowledge of Spanish.
