Sonoma County criminal defense lawyer Evan E. Zelig has been involved in the practice of criminal law exclusively since the beginning of his legal career. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Political Science and continued with his legal education at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. While in law school Mr. Zelig was recognized for his achievements in advocating on behalf of clients in a courtroom setting and during this time also began an internship with the Sacramento County District Attorneys Office.
Immediately after law school and becoming a licensed attorney Mr. Zelig continued his legal work as a Deputy District Attorney in Sacramento where he represented the People of the State of California through all phases of criminal prosecution. During this time Mr. Zelig gained valuable trial experience and saw how decisions at the District Attorneys Office were made regarding the cases being prosecuted.
