William A. Jordan is an attorney in Greenville, South Carolina. In 1980, his law school journey began and Bill was very fortunate to work for some great lawyers and politicians, including: Bob Sheheen of the house judiciary committee; Terrell Glenn, former US attorney and; Randall T. Bell, who became one of the first judges appointed to the South Carolina Court of Appeals. In 1983, Bill was hired to clerk in Charleston, South Carolina for two educationally rich years for the Honorable Falcon B. Hawkins, Chief United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina. In 1985, Bill joined the McNair Law Firm in Columbia, South Carolina. His passionate interest in complex plaintiffs trial work led him in 1987 to Hampton, South Carolina where he gained great experience on asbestos cases working with a property damage focused firm. In 1990, Bill returned to his beloved Greenville, South Carolina to open his own law office specializing in complex plaintiffs litigation. Over the years, he has handled numerous class actions, medical malpractice cases, pharmaceutical products liability cases, automobile products liability cases, securities fraud cases, nursing home abuse cases, and a wide assortment of other type cases. In 1999, Bill became a South Carolina Bar certified mediator, and was selected for the court appointed bar mediation list in 2006. His appreciation and rapidly growing awareness of the value of alternative dispute resolution options for feuding parties led him to the opening in 2009 of Greenvilles Jordan Dispute Resolution Center. Bill is a member of the Million-Dollar Advocates Forum, the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.
