Mr. Johnson has attained the highest possible rating of "AV" from Martindale Hubbell, the national directory of attorneys, indicating preeminent legal ability and the highest standard of ethics. Attorney Johnson belongs to several professional law associations, including the American Association for Justice (and the newly formed Oil Damage Litigation Section), Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association. Attorney Johnson attended Columbia University School of Law in New York City, where he passed the Certified Public Accountants examination and served as an Articles Editor for the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law. A native of Georgia, Mr. Johnson attended Heritage High School in Conyers where he was the schools Star Student. He then attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, where he received the Oglethorpe Cup as the most outstanding member of the graduating class. Mr. Johnson graduated summa cum laude with a bachelors degree in accounting. Mr. Johnson is a published author, having written "Georgias Law of Charitable Immunity" 26 Verdict 48 (2001). Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice law in Georgia (1995) and New York (1993).
