Helen has been practicing law since 2000. Prior to opening her own law firm, she worked at the Montgomery County Prosecutors Office in Dayton, Ohio where she was a successful trial attorney responsible for all phases of the prosecution of adults and juveniles charged with felony and misdemeanor crimes. Before joining the Montgomery County Prosecutors Office, Helen worked for a mid-size law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio where she zealously represented clients in class action, employment, labor, discriminatory housing, predatory lending, contract and tort lawsuits. She earned her law degree at The George Washington University Law School where she clerked for the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and the Hamilton County Public Defenders Office in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree in International Affairs from the University of Cincinnati, where she interned for the Ohio Attorney Generals Office, Senator John Glenns Congressional Office and was a member of several honor societies. Helen is admitted to practice law in Ohio, Kentucky*, the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Helen currently lives in Washington Township, Ohio with her husband, two children and their family dogs. She is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Bankruptcy Law Forum and the Kentucky Bar Association. In addition, Helen recently completed a year of service as the Chair of the Dayton Bar Associations Juvenile Law Committee.
