Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Alanna Coopersmith is an Ivy-League educated attorney living in the San Francisco Bay Area and practicing criminal defense. She developed her skills as a seasoned courtroom advocate working as a deputy public defender at a Bay Area public defenders office.
Alanna Coopersmith began her legal career clerking for a United States District Court judge, Hon. Stewart Dalzell. She was an associate in the litigation department of the firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, representing individuals and companies in a wide range of commercial cases.
Most recently, she practiced criminal defense as a deputy public defender at the Solano Public Defender’s Office. She was also a volunteer attorney at the San Francisco Public Defenders Office.
